I previously operated a counselling and supervision practice for 20 plus years in Christchurch, predominantly doing ACC sensitive claim therapy, facilitating domestic violence progammes and providing counselling for the Family Court before moving to Motueka after the earthquakes.

I have a background in medicine, as a radiographer, farming, hospitality and property management. At the moment I am learning about bee keeping, re-learning about farming and sustainable practices. My family and grandchildren are scattered around the world so travel has become a regular part of my life.

My philosophy is to work with people holistically and respectfully. I believe that we all have huge potential for healing and that safety and support are important in the process of achieving this.
